About Jenny McChesney, Designer/Owner

My work supports small business, museums, non-profit orgs, and architectural firms. The Zeitgraph portfolio includes significant designer-led projects in print media and for the built environment. Often, the process includes research, interpretation, or storytelling, as in the case of corporate/organizational histories. For example, regionalized graphics for a workplace with curated photography, interpretive graphics for museums, and richly detailed timeline of organization histories. Zeitgraph projects have been recognized by The Ad Federation, Graphic Design USA, and the Texas Association of Museums, Mitchell A. Wilder Award (including a Best in Show, 2014), and Wilder Gold Award, Publications, 2021.

My formal background in design includes a BFA in Graphic Design from Carnegie-Mellon University (1981) and Yale summer workshop, Brissago. Recent ongoing professional development includes the SEGD Placemaking Symposium, Philadelphia 2018; and online coursework. I am part of the Advisory Committee for the San Antonio College Communication Design department.

Every project engagement is an honor and privilege – many thanks to clients and colleagues for such excellent collaboration over the years.

Affiliations: Society for Experiential Graphic Design (SEGD), Austin Chapter; AIGA, The Professional Association for Design; and Texas Association of Museums (TAM). State of Texas HUB Certified.
